Berries Individual Tart For Breakfast

Breakfast certainly is my favorite meal of the day. I try to incorporate berries on it -blueberries, blackberries, strawberries and/or raspberries- at least three or four times a week. Monday to Friday, and due to time limitations, I usually throw the berries on the food processor -along with some milk, protein powders, Greek yogurt and/or a bit of honey- for a rich/power shake. 

I recently saw this recipe on Martha Stewart living, and I couldn't help but trying to make my very own version of it. 

For a more calorie-friendly result, I made a few changes on the original recipe: I substituted the sugar for sweeteners and the whole milk for almond milk.

I still have room to grow in terms of mastering the texture. Anyway...this is a yummy and healthy way to start the day, don't you think?

  3. Looks delicious... Your substitutions might be what changed the texture... Maybe you can use less sugar or agave syrup.
