Jazzy Sunday At The Bundeskunsthalle

Happy Monday, amigos! I hope you had a great weekend. Yesterday we headed to the Bundeskunsthalle to listen to some jazz. Like every Summer, General-Anzeiger (Bonn newspaper) and the prestigious museum join forces to present the 'GA-Sommergarten', a concert series held every other Sunday from June through mid-August at the museum's (espectacular) roof terrace.

We got there around noon. The band Paris Washboard was already playing and the repertoir was on point. The mood-setting tunes in combination with the scenic views (seriously, how beautiful are those flowers!?) made for a perfectly friendy and laid-back ambience. Lucía danced barefoot, we met new people, ate bratwurst (German hot dogs) and drank beer. Despite the threatening clouds, the afternoon remained dry and very warm. We left the concert feeling relaxed and refreshed. A perfect feeling for a Sunday if you ask me. Here you have some pics if you'd like to see.

The next event of the GA-Sommergarten Concert series will take place on Sunday 31. Marco Marchi and the Mojo Workers (a Blues band) will hit the stage that day. We have already marked our calendars. Oh, and did I mention the concerts are free of charge?

Thanks for reading amigos! Have a great week!
