Happy times: Along with my bosses and bf welcoming 2012 in Rome's Fraschetteria Brunetti. Stay tuned on future updates! |
Happy Friday, my friends! Any exciting plans for the weekend?
Today, 2012 UEFA European Football Championship kicks off. I am proud to remind you guys that my country Spain was crowned Euro Champion in 2008, after defeating Germany in the final.
Four years later, here we are again. Would I enjoy to see my country renewing the title this year? Certainly! But...At what cost?
Let me tell you guys that my life has had 'slight' adjustments in the last four years. I now work for an Italian company and my dear boyfriend is German. For those of you who are not very familiar with European soccer, I'll inform you that Spain-Italy-Germany are major rivals.
Actually, on Sunday, Spain debuts against...guess who?...Italy! It's going to get interesting! On the 'bright' side, Germany and Spain can only meet in the final (my boyfriend, a UEFA scholar, already informed me about it).
Sticky situation! Spain's victory will mean that they would have beaten Italy and Germany. Take that!
Anyway, just so you know, this weekend I'll be focusing on the NBA playoffs (Saturday night, Heat vs. Celtics! Yeah!) I'm SO loving the GOOD, OLD USA this weekend.
I'll keep you guys updated about the potential major life changes that might arise in the next few weeks!
Have a great weekend!
La verdad es que si que contamos con muy buenos deportitas en España¡¡ feliz finde preciosa¡¡¡
ReplyDeleteHaha! I can understand your football fever cause you guys are good at it! But Finland sucks in football...except few good players...but they cannot save the whole team! :)
