What's The Best Color For Hunter Boots?

It looks like my next big fashion buy will be a pair of the famous Hunter Boots. I actually love all old-school English brands, such as Barbour or Belstaff. They all have known how to reinvent themselves, and adapt their collections to the latest fashion trends. As a marketing move, I consider it brilliant! Now, when it comes to the Hunter Boots, I am not sure what color to choose: Should I go for the darkest/more classic models in either brown, green or black or should I follow my 'colorful heart' and get a pair on pink or purple?
Honestly, I am confused!

After doing some research on the matter, I realized that Kate Moss is the best Hunter Boots ambassador. I adore how she makes them work with funky/sexy outfits when she hits Glastonbury Festival.

    I LOVE Hunter boots - I just wish I had the chance to wear them more. :( I have the gray color. I think the bright colors are totally fun, but knew grey would go with anything. I think if I were more in a walking city like Chicago I could get more use out of them.

    I've had the black Hunter boots for years and I absolutely love them. When I want a dose of color.... I buy the fun inserts. I fully expect to be wearing them 10 years from now.

    I want some Hunter boots so bad. I bought a grey pair of rubber boots from Target last year and they are already falling apart. It's time for an upgrade. I'm eyeing the hunter green Hunters... lol! Seriously though, the green is a bit different that basic black, and at the same time really versatile.

    haha I had almost exact the same blog post prepared today...but cancelled it for food instead:) Anyway, I have the black Hunter, but now wants the Union Jack or gold metallic...hmmm...I can´t choose either.     They're alright!!! I want to take a grommetter to the backs of them and loop them together with a ribbon like Jules wellies.
    I would take some yellow or lime hunter boots.

    That burgundy is fabulous, though...

    I've had my Hunter boots for 5+ years now and I love them more and more each year. I say stick with the classic black or green and get some fun boot socks for a splash of color.

    My dad is buying me a pair for Christmas, I will never get them in time because I can't decide on what color!!!!! I like reading what other people like, for me, black isn't fun enough but I still want to match with my clothes :( thats why I just can't decide!

    After MUCH debate and returning several pairs of hunters including the classic green I finally decided on a pair of iris hunters! As in the bright purple ones! I love them and get a lot of compliments. They actually go with most of my closet and Im not one to pick a basic boring color when paying $200 for a pair of shoes. I figured I wanted to get compliments on my boots instead of buying a simple pair of fade into the background hunters

    I have hunter boots and the wellie socks the boots are black and the socks are white I also have black socks! I love them! I got black to go with everything and to jazz it up you can get colorful socks so you still have a pop of color with the boots.
