Love, NYC And What I Wore (It's A Wrap!)

Sunday was a kind of bittersweet day. We did have an amazing time, however, we knew we had to leave to the airport at 3pm...hence the mixed feelings. Anyway, let's focus on the FUN!

After the breakfast and before doing the checkout, we headed to the hotel's rooftop, located on the 40th floor, to enjoy the view and take some pics.

Once we got ready to leave the hotel, we went to Central Park. We were SO looking forward to the rowing -same thing with the sailing, I read about the boat house on Natalie's blog (the funniest part is that I COINCIDENTALLY wore a top similar to hers...)

The rowing was SO much fun and relaxing at the same time. I felt like I was living a contemporary fairy tale, my very own romantic comedy. This is such a nice activity to do along with the people you love the most -not only your significant other, but also family members, best friends...The only pre-requisite is to know how to row. Otherwise, the experience can get easily ruined!

Walking by Central Park is always so empowering and chilling...A NYC-must if you ask me.

Before heading to the airport, we had like 45 minutes to kill, and decided to walk around Times Square. Probably one of the most touristic places in the world, and visually very powerful, it's always nice to take some random shots to the massive billboards framing the streets.

I'm not sure when I'll be back to NYC. It certainly is one of my favorite destinations for short trips.
I thank The City and my favorite travel buddy ever for making of this weekend a truly unforgettable one!

About what I wore: top from Madewell, denim shorts from Fire Los Angeles -via Nordstrom Rack-, flats purchased in Rome, bag from an artesany store in Cangas de Onis, Spain and shades from Forever 21

You can check out the rest of the NYC weekend program in my previous posts, here and here.

  1. I love nyc.. it really is an amazing city so full of life you can never get bored. Looks like you had a great trip. I have walked by the row house so many time but we always think we'll do it some other time.. it's been almost 5 years and we haven't done it yet. I guess that's the advantage of being a tourist you do everything you can to enjoy the city and never put it off for next time
