Hey, I Just Met You, And This Is Crazy!

There's always something special about the moment you come across your 'new favorite fragrance', don't you think? During my last LA trip, I spent some time wandering around Kitson, and this precious little perfume bottle caught my attention. The moment I tried it, I realized I just had found my new favorite perfume: Lola, from Marc Jacobs. (Also, don't miss the fabulous perfume website).
 
It reminded me how I got to discover my other favorite perfumes:
 
Amarige from Givenchy has been the first fragrance I truly fell in love with. It was love at first sample. It all happened while I was studying in Toulouse, France during my early twenties. I went to Galeries Lafayette to purchase probably skin products, and the sales person gave me some 'echantillons.' Yes, that's how I discovered this Givenchy gem.
 
One of my best friends here in Miami, also a fan of Amarige, got me for my birthday two years ago, what it became my second true perfume love: Gucci Rush. Sweet, sexy, sophisticated, charismatic...Gucci Rush is all of that and more -as it was a beautiful present from a beautiful friend.

 So, how about you guys? What are your favorite perfumes and how you got to discover them?

    Beautiful, it has a lovely smell. I tried it in the store sometime ago. I'm still trying to decide on what fragrance I want to get...but I do love perfume :)) x

    Ah! Elsa, I'm very boring regarding perfumes and because I suffer from migrania, some fragrances I trigger them, which is extremely uncomfortable ... my perfume doesn't, in fact it is as my personal seal, everybody just love , but not to everyone it smells the same ... it is PRIVATE COLLECTION, Estee Lauder Tuberose Gardenia by ... my hubby takes a little bit with him when he travels ... he's a romantic (half masochistic, yet romantic! Hehe!)

    My favorite is Dolce & Gabbana 'The One'. Lola looks very inviting though...I may have to try it out:-)
