I once read that Oscar-winning actress and singer Jennifer Hudson said something like God chooses some powerful celebrities to send a message of hope, power and strength to the world. I couldn't agree more.

Like most of you, I've followed Giuliana and Bill Rancic's painful and courageous journey through infertility, abortion, breast cancer, double vasectomy and finally, the happy ending: the arrival of Edward Duke Rancic, via adjustational carrier. Congrats to the happy parents!

Now it's time for one of my most beloved TV personalities, Good Morning America's amazing host Robin Roberts to prove to the world -again!- what she is made of.

Gorgeous Robin, who won the battle of breast cancer a few years ago, has been recently diagnosed with a rare bone marrow disease, so she has to undergo a bone marrow transplant -her own sister will be the donor. Today was her last day at the morning show before the intervention. 

My mother once told me that one of the greatest mysteries in the world is why humans have to go through so much pain sometimes. True. On a funnier note, one day I told my boss 'why bad things happen to good people!?', she said to me: 'Bad people go through bad things as well, it's just we don't find out about it!'

Anyway: I want to send my love and best wishes to Robin and the Rancics.
