Happy Friday, friends! Hope you had a good and productive week. On this end, I managed to squeeze a three-day trip to visit my parents in Asturias, and it was so nice! As a family, we have a few big things to celebrate: My brother is hitting the ground running in Nantes! Four days after his arrival in France, he received the French certificate to become Maître de Conférence in History, which means that he is qualified and authorized to become History professor in a French University. We're beyond excited and happy for him.
As for me, I've landed sort of my dream job and will be starting on February 17th. Since I'm a bit superstitious, I'll open up about it next month. Now I'm too nervous and excited at the same time. One day at a time!
The days with my parents have been wonderful. We stayed at the house most part of the time, catching up and enjoying each other's company. Heavenly! The pics are from Tuesday, when we spent the afternoon in Parque Principado, probably the biggest shopping mall in the region.
I got some books and stocked up on Spanish magazines -that's sort of related to my new position! Also, I scored the cutest cell phone case I've ever had in my life!
Overall, it was great to spend some quality time with my parents! I love them SO MUCH! :)
Have a nice weekend! Besos!
