If The City Was A Woman

Paris, London, Rome, Madrid, New York...
...their history, legend, culture and energy contribute to make them the most charismatic and magic cities I have ever been.
Now, if each of those cities would transform into a woman...Who would they be?

Paris: Ines de la Fressange

Extremely chic and beautiful, Ines de la Fressange has been one of the most admired models of all time. Now, in her fifties, she keeps her 'allure' and elegance. To me, aside from 'Mademoiselle Coco', no one has ever worn a Chanel better than her.

London: Jemima Goldsmith
Born into one of the wealthiest families in UK, Jemima can be proud of having gone through so many interesting experiences. And she is only 38! Jemima converted to Islam to marry the father of her two kids, a very handsome cricket player from Pakistan. During that time, Jemima was best friends with late Lady Di. After her divorce, she dated movie star Hugh Grant for three years. Jemima was ever rumored to have dated Guy Ritchie, right after his divorce from Madonna. Now, she focuses on humanitarian work.

Rome: Sophia Loren
Astonishing beautiful and sexy. Strong and funny. Cheeky and elegant. She is all of that, at the same time. Also, don't forget that Sophia is one of the best actresses of her generation. Timeless. A referent of beauty. A legend.

Madrid: Penelope Cruz
Fierce, talented, down-to-earth, glamorous, humble, gorgeous, cosmopolitan, proud of her heritage...Everybody loves her! Her personality and beauty shines through, yet, Penelope knows what's truly important. Despite the Hollywood bling, she has managed to keep her values all the way through.

New York: Sofia Coppola
Talent runs in the family! Sofia is smart, classy and effortlessly cool. She doesn't pretend to be anything, yet Sofia is one of the most talented and acclaimed film makers in the industry. A true pop culture icon, whose work and personality defines this century's visual art.

Did you like my choices? Do you guys agree? What of those cities you like the most?

  3. Very interesting observations! The only one I don't agree with is Sofia Coppola and New York - Sofia always seems more Parisian to me! NYC = Carrie Bradshaw in my eyes xo
