Cocoa Beach Road Trip

Hi darlings!

Hope you all had a great weekend.

On this end, it was pretty eventful, as we embarked on a weekend road trip from Miami up to Daytona Beach, stationing in Cocoa Beach.

We arrived at Cocoa Beach at around 9 pm on Friday night, and decided to grab a drink at the Sand Bar. This beachy spot can be considered the perfect epitome of this charming little surfer town: warm, welcoming and super lay-back. Love it!

Our Saturday was one of the 'busiest' vacay days I had in a long time, as we filled it up with tons of activities:

Kennedy Space Center -We spent almost 4 hours in the facilities! The highlights of the experience include the Rocket Garden and a guided tour to some of the facilities:

Daytona Speedway -really nice 30-min tour inside the speedway:

Relaxing dinner at Ponce Inlet's very famous Down The Hatch, followed by a relaxing promenade by the lighthouse and the 'white' beach.

Sunday, on the other hand, was nothing but pure relax: some shopping in Cocoa's very own Ron Jon shop, beach time -what a gorgeous day we had!- and late lunch at Captain J's Ocean Deck.

Thanks again to my favorite travel buddy for the great company! Even though I love to travel on my own, nothing like travelling in good company, don't you think? Who do you like to travel with? Significant other? family? Friends? Alone?

  2. Love it! We were at NASA once when the kids were small. They got to talk to an astronaut (Charlie Duke) and asked him if he'd ever been in space. He had been on the moon! Not on the first trip though, and we parents were embarrassed not to have known his name.

  7. Hiya sweety, just read your comment, thanks so much :)) That's brilliant, your mom had a dress similar to mine, it is from the 70's/80's time :))) I usually wear vintage stuff that's a bit older, but I couldn't resist the colour of it :)) xx
