Breakfast certainly is my favorite meal of the day. I try to incorporate berries on it -blueberries, blackberries, strawberries and/or raspberries- at least three or four times a week. Monday to Friday, and due to time limitations, I usually throw the berries on the food processor -along with some milk, protein powders, Greek yogurt and/or a bit of honey- for a rich/power shake.
I recently saw this recipe on Martha Stewart living, and I couldn't help but trying to make my very own version of it.
For a more calorie-friendly result, I made a few changes on the original recipe: I substituted the sugar for sweeteners and the whole milk for almond milk.

Looks so yummy and healthy too. Love fruits during the summer, especially berries. I love to eat a large breakfast on week-end.....

Looks delicious... Your substitutions might be what changed the texture... Maybe you can use less sugar or agave syrup.
