I've always wanted to be 7 cm taller. It took me 30+ years to realize that jeopardizing comfort to look a bit longer is just not good business -specially at night time!
I've certainly worn flat ballerinas as a little kid, but rediscovered the trend less than one year ago, and oh boy!, flats (leather ballerinas) have become my go-to shoes for almost any occasion: from the office to night time. I just love the liberating feeling of knowing that you can walk all day/dance all night, without compromising style.

That is so true! Once your used to the comfort that flats give, you find it hard to wear heels! It's been years since I bought high heels!

I hate being uncomfortable and can't wear really high heels but flats aren't the best for my feet either. So while I love ballet slippers I try not to wear them too often and wear a mid heel chunky ankle boot most days - best of both worlds!

ReplyDeleteI have worn flat shoes for many years. Every once in a while I wear low heels, but flats make so much more sense. The ballerinas are adorable, but I stick more to Birkis. Guess I'm part hippie.

ReplyDeleteI have to agree- I find my tolerance for heels is depleting! My fave flats shoes are the ballerinas from Topshop. They are soft real leather and wear out pretty quickly but are so so comfy and go with everything. I'm buy the black and nude and I'm on my third pair of each!
