When Michael and I were still doing the long distance, one day we found ourselves discussing about how we were going to decorate our future house, and he unoficially named me the person in charge of the balcony. Now that we have been living together for 3 months -on Friday, it would be actually the 3-month anniversary of my arrival to Germany- and Spring is approaching, I think it is time to roll up my sleeves and start working on it.
I would like to conciliate our personalities: his functionality (storage space, lighting...) and passion for South Africa (he actually has a few crafted goods from his trips there that could fit right in) and my female vision through colourful flowers and fabrics. How fun! That first photo is so cool. I also love bonsai trees on a balcony. Simple, tranquil, relaxing...very Zen is the way I'd go.
