Chilling After The Rain

Last Sunday -a cloudy one with scattered showers-, we decided to challenge ourselves and, instead of spending the whole day around the house on a lazy mode, hit the road.

The initial plan was to drive to any of the charming little towns in a twenty-something km radio and spend a lovely afternoon there. Five minutes in the car, it starts raining. After driving for about thirty minutes and since it didn't stop raining, we decided to return back home. Naturally, when we arrive in Bonn, the rain stops.

Before calling it a day, we decided to grab a drink by the park, where the city of Bonn features some entertainment options, such as live music and food courts. 

The Summer-in-the-Park festivities sound like a pretty cool idea -including movie-nights and concerts. I look forward to those. 

After all, it turned out to be a lovely Sunday afternoon!
