Happy Monday, my friends. This past weekend was a great -and very hot!- one.
After a busy Saturday, with several social engagements back to back -including a corporate soccer tournament and a lovely first bday party of our friends' twins- on Sunday we hit the road with the bikes.
This time, we headed up the river, to a charming small town called Remagen, which is full of terraces overseeing the Rhine and cobble-stoned little streets. Then, we did a little detour West and went across the country side - including a lovely farm with goats. We had our half way break in Bad Bodendord.
It was a gorgeous 40-mile bike ride. Blame it on the heat, but I got home particularly exhausted, yet, totally regenerated.
Hope you enjoyed the pics and I wish you a happy and productive week!
This sounds very rejuvenating, actually! There is nothing like a good outdoor work out. I love the pics of the animals too:)

ReplyDeleteSounds like a lovely place! So glad for you that you seem to have settled in in your new country, and that's it not far from Spain:) (heading to Marbella in August, yes, can't wait!) xo Caroline
