Exploring The French Country Side: Féron

Hi there, amigos! I hope your week is off to a great start. On this end, we spent the weekend in Féron, a lovely small town in Northern France. The family of my brother's girlfriend is about to open a new gîte (French for rural hotel) and we were lucky enough to witness firsthand how beautifully the project is coming along.

We ate delicious beef bourguignon, hachis parmentier, quiches, cheeses, home made cakes and drank a lot of really good wine. It was like Christmas! :)

But above all, we could enjoy some quality time all together, including my mother, who is staying with my brother and his girlfriend at their place. Now that my brother and I live 270 km away from each other, it is very easy to set up family meetings. Nothing like catching up with family over great food and drinks, right? Enjoy the pictures and thanks for reading!

  1. It looks like everyone is having fun and it's even better when quiche and wine are involved! I hope you get to see everyone again soon!
