Hi darlings! As I was telling you, Michael and I spent the Thanksgiving break in the Keys. That same Thursday, and in a candid effort to balance last night's heavy dinner, we decided to rent bikes and drive around the island, following the road right by the water. What a beautiful ride!
After a 2-hour ride -including some stops for taking pictures and just seesights- we grabbed a quick lunch on one of the most popular places by the harbour, Conch Republic -we believe we sat on the same table we had on our last lunch there, back in February!
By 4pm we were ready to indulge in some siesta time, before the big Thanksgiving dinner. Later that night, we headed to Pepe's Cafe for turkey, followed by beers and life music at Sloppy Joe
By Friday morning, we were ready to leave Key West. But, right before that, we grabbed breakfast at the lovely Southernmost Cafe -right by the beach. What a cool way to start the day and kiss KW good bye.
Next stop: Bahia Honda! Despite the wide range of activities available in the park, we focused on taking pics of the old bridge and kick back at the narrow beach.
We would spend Friday night in Key Largo. The idea was to be able to arrive to Miami by Saturday afternoon. The fabulous sunset and the always cool Snappers brought to our minds a lot of nice memories.
Coming right up: Leaving Key Largo, and Michael's B-Day celebrations in Miami.
It all look amazing! You too dear! xo Caroline
