What an action-packed couple of weeks I have ahead of me! In just fifteen days, I'll be moving to Germany, to start a new life with my boyfriend -leaving behind my eight-year-long American dream.
As much as I feel over-the-moon and happy, there's still a part of me that just can't believe it. When people ask me if I'm ready to move, it's like I don't think they are actually talking to me.
Furthermore, I'm sure that I'll only be fully aware of what I am about to do after 2 or 3 months living in Bonn. How's that for exciting?
As if the full-time job, packing, organizing and selling stuff were not enough to keep me busy during the next 15 days, I'll be squeezing a 48-hour trip to Montreal -to visit one of my best friends-, several birthday parties AND I'll be seeing again, after 8 years, my dear friends Lili and Jason-who travelled all the way from Australia, where Jason is originally from and where the couple is currently living. We all met circa 2003, in London, as we were living in the same building. They were some of the friends that threw my farewell party right before I left London to move to Miami back in June 2004. Fate wanted them to also be around during my last days in Miami, before I move to Germany. How's that for a crazy coincidence?
Thank you so much for all your support and nice words! It means the world to me!
Have a happy and lovely weekend!

That's so exciting Elsa! I am delighted for you and your boyfriend, I hope you will be over the moon in Bonn xo
ReplyDeleteYay! This is all so exciting! Now, since you are heading to Montreal...you should stop by RI on your way...to visit ME! RI would be a good resting point between Miami and Canada;-) LOL! Although it would be fantastic, I'm just kidding cuz I know have more than enough to do.
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely weekend, hun!
