Happy Monday, beauties! Hope you're off to a great start of the week after a happy and regenerating weekend.
I've been thinking a lot about accessories lately. I firmly believe that a well-curated selection of accessories can take your current wardrobe options to new highs, 'from blah to awe', especially if you are going through a 'basics-only' phase, like yours truly right now!
A good Fedora, an oversize necklace or fabulous shoes -and don't get me started on jewelry pieces with sentimental value!- can do wonders for your neutrals or basics, elevating the style of an otherwise boring outfit. And what it is even more important, at least to me, the right accessory can define your style and who you are, much more accurately than the most perfectly combined head-to-toe outfit.
Do you guys have go-to accessories that can transform the most boring outfit into something else -in no time and even less effort? I would love to hear!

The most festive month of the year is already in full swing and you may probably have a few social events already lined up. As much as it is so enjoyable to celebrate the Christmas spirit, it might be a little overwhelming to come up with the perfect outfit for every occasion, from office parties to family dinners or outings with friends.
The solution? Just pick some highly versatile staple items that you can easily dress up or down, according to the occasion. Focus on flattering and comfortable pieces -nothing wrong with labels, although I might have gotten a bit carried away with the Jimmy Choos ;) ...Anyway, I'm just trying to make a point here! Here you guys have my picks!
How about you? Do you follow any particular strategy to navigate through Holiday Season in style?
Check out the pieces here!

In a perfect world with no wars, hunger or illnesses, a girl should be able to have unlimited budget for shoes, right?
Jokes aside, if I had to buy only one fashion item per season, I'd definitely have to go for a pair of shoes. If back in January I treated myself with a pair of riding boots for my birthday -which has been and continues to be in high rotation- now I'm focusing on finding the perfect pair of ankle boots. There are so many options to choose from: high heels vs. flats, leather vs. suede, brown vs. grey vs. nude...As I said, I wish I could buy them all, but since I can't, I'm leaning toward this pair.
This one was such a great buy. No wonder I'm coming back for more, Paul Green. Style and quality should never compromise comfort.
How do you like ankle boots? Did you get your pair already?
Three Summer Findings That Rocked My Beauty World
style
Thursday, August 29, 2013
Aloha dear friends! This Summer which is about to end, will always be remembered as one of the most special and intense ones of my life. On the less-existential department, it will also be remembered as the Summer I came across a few beauty and health-related staples that 'rocked my beauty world.'
1. Lemon + Lime Water

As much as I try to drink an average of 1.5 liters of water everyday, to be honest, I never particularly enjoyed doing it. Inspired by plenty of blogs talking about the wonders of fruit-flavored water, I decided to try my own version of it, adding lemon and lime slices to my daily water intake. The result surpassed my expectations, and now I can drink 2+ liters a day, and more importantly, I enjoy every sip.
2. Lip Scrub DYI

I'm not proud to admit that I've never taken care of my lips like I should have. Big mistake! On the bright side, this DYI Lip Scrub is a miracle worker. It can't be any easier to prepare, and the results are spectacular. Plus, nothing like being able to save some coins in beauty treatments without compromising effectiveness, right?
3. Perfection Lumiere CHANEL

Without a doubt, the absolute best foundation I ever tried. Perfection Lumiere lives up to its name, providing the perfect balance between light texture and hard-core coverage. The first time I tried this make-up gem, it looked like I had 'photoshopped' my make-up-free face. I couldn't tell that I was actually wearing a coat of foundation. True story. I couldn't recommend it enough.
I'm happy about my new findings, but when it comes to try new suggestions or tips, I'm always game.
Did you guys find lately any idea or product that 'rocked your beauty world'?

Army Jackets: The Ultimate Summerish Layer
I find something incredibly irresistible about balancing out a feminine outfit with a timeless and quintessential masculine piece. And if this one adds functionality, even better! The army jacket becomes the perfect summer-ish layer for breezy nights. Army jackets have character and sex-appeal. Plus, they are unbelievably versatile! I'm officially in the market for one of those!
How do you guys like army jackets?
Feelin' Anything Rustic
style
Friday, May 17, 2013
When it comes to home deco, nothing embodies the perfect balance of warmth and sophistication like the rustic style. At least in my book.
To recreate the rustic feel, investing on a bigger piece like a fabulous farmhouse table, plus smaller details such as wild flowers center pieces and candles, go a long way, don't you think?
How about you, guys? Are you particularly drown to this style? Any ideas you would like to share here?
Highlights Of The Weekend
Nothing says Spring like barbecues, kids jumping around -literally!- strolls by the park and shopping tours to find the perfect trekking bike for moi. That's what it was all about last weekend on this end. Cheers to many more warm weekends packed with outdoor activities and good company. Here you have a few pics if you'd like to see. Have a nice week!

What's not to love about white jeans? Versatility, comfort and style. Effortless sophistication. The epitome of chic casual. White jeans are certainly the MVP of this Spring -at least in my book! Pair them with a chambray shirt, nautical or grey t-shirt for a sexy/cute tomboy look a la Gwyneth Paltrow or up the ante by adding high heels a la Emmanuele Alt. A good pair of white jeans takes us from morning coffee runs to Summer dinners al fresco. Did you get yours yet? I'm certainly on it!
